The Restaurant is situated inside the Wine Tasting building at Welmoed Winery ('Stellenbosch Vineyards') on the R310 (Baden-Powell drive or Spier Road) approximately 40 km from Cape Town and 10 km from both Stellenbosch and Somerset-West.
Ronel van der Walt had managed the restaurant since 1999 and become the proud owner in 2001. Her sister, Charlene, is the assistant manageress. Both sisters have many years of experience in the hospitality trade and are putting it to good use at The Duck Pond!
Up to 50 people can be accommodated inside the restaurant. The Veranda can seat 65 people. The lawn in front of the restaurant can seat a further 60 people on wooden benches and can also be used for marquee functions for bigger groups......READ MORE
